Vintage Tignanello Gold Grained Leather Crossbody Purse with Multi-compartments
Condition:
Very nice condition. There's no stains, or weird scents. It appears to have light use, as the leather strap has no cracks in it. The 2 main zippers weren't as smooth, at their ends, but I gently dabbed Vaseline along the teeth, to make them smoother, and they glide better now. The metal zipper pulls, and the hanging one bearing the Tignanello name, all show tiny surface scratches; the metal on the zippers show a bit of scuffing. These are all normal wear and tear marks, but overall, very nice for its age. I have spruced it up with leather cleaner, and sanitized the inside. The gold shade is closer to the detail pictures, and not the coppery tone you see in some.
Materials, color, design, and comments:
100% grained leather, with a smooth surface. The trim is "man-made." The lining is a shiny polyester, bearing, in gold text, the Tignanello name and the signature gold chains, on a background of chocolate brown. The leather is a
medium tone, muted gold. There's 13 compartments: 4 zip compartments; 2 are main ones, made of metal, with sturdy, and attractive zipper fobs; the other two, are interior, made of nylon. Inside the main compartment, the size of that zipper compartment, is almost the size of the purse; the other one, in the lower compartment is a little wider than paper currency. On the opposite side of the main compartment that bears the leather strip with the brand name, has a full-size slit pocket. The lower compartment has 6 credit card slots. Its main compartment is about the size of a modern cell-phone; on its opposite side, are two, side-by-side, slotted pockets. Above them is the other zip compartment. Recounted...that's 13 : } The strap is not adjustable, even though they extend out of metal rivets...I checked the inside, and the ends are sewn into their own little pouch.
